About
Fresh from uni with a history degree under my belt, everyone assumed I’d go into teaching, but that was never the plan. It’s always been about writing. And it turns out that I’m pretty good at it. Leveraging my background in PR & marketing and many years in publishing to help businesses share their stories, I’ve well and truly found my calling.
Words matter
I’ve always been obsessed with words. The magic started when I discovered Enid Blyton at the age of seven, and although my tastes are a little more grown up now (we’re talking feel-good fiction, cosy crime, historical novels and pretty much anything else in between), I’m still a voracious reader, which definitely makes me a better writer. I’ve got a notebook in every possible location and I’m a sucker for nice stationery.
When it comes to business, I get a buzz from finding out what makes people tick and working out ingenious ways to say it. I’ve built up an eclectic mix of clients across different industry sectors and have an incredible portfolio spectrum.
My words have helped companies engage with their customers, sell their products, pick up prime press coverage, win followers and more importantly, get noticed.
As for me, I’m all for keeping it simple. A big mug of tea, a good book and a bubble bath is my ultimate recipe for relaxation. I’m married to an artist and musician so you could say that as a family, creativity is our thing. Throw two daughters in the mix and there’s never a dull (or a quiet) moment. We live on the doorstep of Tatton Park and you’ll find me there most days embracing the great British outdoors.
This is my story. I can’t wait to hear yours.
